Sunder Sermon by Pastor Rajesh Mathew on 19 May 2024 

Ephesians 1:13- 13 In Him you also trusted, after you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation; in whom also, having believed, you were sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise, 14 who is the guarantee of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, to the praise of His glory. 

• Today is the Day of Pentecost. He has sealed us with the Holy Spirit. You were ‘Sealed’ of the Holy Spirit. My voice may be feeble but I have a Word from God in my Spirit and I am here to release it. 
• You were sealed with the Holy Spirit, !

1. a) The baptism of the Holy Spirit- It a experience of being immersed in the Spirit of God, in the waters of baptism and getting out with the breaking off into new tongues. May there be a baptism of he Holy Spirit among you today.
2. b) Power of the Holy Spirit, He is called the FINGER of God. If I cast out demons by the finger of God then the kingdom of God is at hand. The Holy Spirit is God and is equal with the Father and the Son.

• When you make the Jesus who died for your own Lord and receive Him as your Saviour, the Holy Spirit places a seal on you. This one is a genuine Christian. God is authenticating him. • When you go to school, our name is written on our lunch boxes and our umbrellas. We even had our names on our uniforms! Why? It establishes ownership of a person over that thing. • When you are born again, the Holy Spirit sets a seal on you that authenticates that you are God’s, and that you belong to Jesus. It means you are marked! Even disciple Thomas asked Jesus to show him the marks. 

In the coming move of the Holy Spirit, God will do things in and through you that will authenticate that you belong to Jesus. God will do it through you and me. 

God has got His way of marking His property. It is an invisible mark, it is not a tattoo visible to all but the demons can see it! 

• Even the handkerchief of Paul could trigger miracles, disease healed and demons flee. Paul was a tent maker. When he used to make tents, he used his handkerchief to wipe away his sweat. And someone would come to him asking him to accompany them to heal somebody; Paul would just remove his handkerchief and send it with the person and that person would be healed! Take this handkerchief and it carries a mark. It carries my authentication. Unusual miracles happened.
• Even today, unusual miracles will happen through you, your shirt, your socks, your shoes, and whatever you have will produce miracles when you are authenticated by God by setting the seal of the Holy Spirit upon you.
• May God open that realm for you. Everything that you have to carry that power. Does the disease know that this handkerchief belongs to Paul? Even your environment can recognise that you are anointed.

When God anoints a man or a woman, everything that belongs to that man or woman is anointed. If you are someone who has received a seal from God, there is a limit to what the devil can do against you because you are marked by God. It is God’s private signature.

• If he is fooling you, may God have mercy on him. Look at somebody and say “Your life is marked by God”. Do you need to be constantly reminded that you are marked? Do you need to be reminded every day when you wake up that you are a man? There is no need. You know you are a man or a woman when you wake up every day. We are living in a society where people are confused about their genders. If you are one of them, you need the Holy Spirit. If you are man, you will walk, talk and behave like a man. You don’t need to be reminded 

Even spiritual things become realities when you are conscious of it. 

• When I become aware that I am marked and sealed by God, that reality will begin to manifest. It is not like you trying to bring down a mango from tree with your eyes blinded. But when you lay hands on the sick you are aware that you are marked by the Lord. When you do so, your healing ministry will go to the next level. This is a prophecy for some of you. 
• Most believers don’t have this awareness. They still walk and live like slaves. May the Holy Spirit give you that awareness. You are not a slave but a child of God, no witchcraft will stand against you. Whether you are writing an exam, or starting a business, you need to be aware that you are sealed and marked by God. Where I set my feet, that land is blessed, when I open my mouth, it will carry power. 

2 Timothy 2:19- Nevertheless, God's solid foundation stands firm, sealed with this inscription: “The Lord knows those who are his,” and, “Everyone who confesses the name of the Lord must turn away from wickedness.” 

• This is a sure foundation and it has a seal and God knows who is His. Even if this person is in prison, he is still God’s; even if he is in the wilderness, he belongs to God, if he is in a plane or in a hotel, he belongs to God and wickedness will depart from him.
• May those marked of God, forgo all iniquity. This is a solid foundation.

That seal reflects genuineness 

• Some people wear Louis Vuitton belts and we know that it is a duplicate. Even currency is checked to see if it is authentic in some banks. If the person who has this seal is genuine, then he will flee from sin. He or she cannot sit and gossip. He or she cannot put others down, they cannot go against men of God, they cannot watch wickedness. They cannot do it because they are aware that they are marked of God. 

You learn to move away from things. You can’t fake genuineness. 

• After 13 years, Joseph became the Prime Minister after a season in prison. He was sealed and marked, there was a prophecy over him, there was a calling within him and that’s why he still was able to run away from Potiphar’s wife. That’s why the prophecy came to pass. 

God is releasing grace upon the church to run from things that you need to run from and depart from iniquity! 

• Imagine David walks into Cornerstone church and he comes up to share a testimony. He says how a bear attacked hissheep and he stepped in to tear them into pieces. David returns the next week with one more testimony. May some of you have testimonies every week. That shows that God is actively involved in your life daily. Next week, he comes again with a testimony that a lion came to attack the sheep and he was able to defend the sheep and kill the lion. The following week, was him having to face Goliath to save the Israelites. The levels of the testimony were changing. David became instrumental in the deliverance of an entire nation. Following this, David isn’t seen in 

church for a few weeks. He has no testimonies, he isn’t coming early to church. What happened? David looked where he shouldn’t have looked. He was broken, and he needed God’s forgiveness. • David was called to be a king and to lead a people as king. He couldn’t afford to look elsewhere. • May the Lord give you a steadfast spirit. May you stand faithful to God.

• If you belong to the Lord, leave certain things behind. Correct yourself before God because God has called you as a king. Say, ‘Lord, help me to be faithful’. 

What you walk away from determines what God brings into your life. 

• Certain things you should not hold too tight. Don’t cling to it. If that relationship is bad and wrong, let go of it, don’t cling to it. That habit is wrong, don’t hold on it. Say, “I am willing to walk away from certain things, I don’t want what God hasn’t given me. I don’t want a dollar or a pound or a business contract, a car, or wedding, what God had not given me. I belong to God. I am genuine and I want to be convinced of that. I am marked by God.

A rock climber slipped off into a creak and the place was full of snow. When he was falling down, he grabbed onto a branch and called out for help, for someone to save him. Somebody said, ‘Let go, leave your grip of the branch’ but he was not willing to. The next morning another group of trekkers found this man hanging down dead with his grip still on that branch and his arms fully frozen. There was ground just two feet below him but because it was dark he couldn’t see it and he therefore, did not let go. Had he loosened his grip, he would have fallen down safe. 

If you let go of certain things, you will certainly land on the Rock of Jesus Christ. • Do not grieve the Holy Spirit because you are sealed by HIM. he has taken residence in your. Ut you are continuously grieving him. Will you keep hurting someone who has come to stay with you? Similarly, the Word says that the Holy Spirit has come to live inside of you. • How do you grieve the Holy Spirit? 

Ephesians 4:31- Let all bitterness and wrath and anger and clamor and slander be put away from you, along with all malice. NIV Get rid of all bitterness, rage and anger, brawling and slander, along with every form of malice. 

• When all this sin you, you are hurting God. Yes, it is possible to hurt God. God has got feelings. The Holy Spirit wants to use you but you are grieving Him.
• When I preached this during a sermon in Stella Maris College, is started crying, it was not me but it was the Holy Spirit crying through me. 

LET ME NEVER GRIEVE YOU HOLY SPIRIT. Let me never quench you or put you out. 

• Lord use me in your next move! 
• If you are sealed with the Holy Spirit and who with the Holy Spirit, you don’t have to look for quick ay to have success or riches. God Himself will keep on increasing you.

Philippians 4:19- d my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus. 

• You will be supply conscious. Not Provision conscious. Provision is one-time. It is for something that you need but supply is continuous. May you have a supernatural supply. May a constant, steady, un-finishing supply be released into your life. 
• God said something to the children of Israel before they entered the promised land- ‘be supply minded and not provision conscious’. He says, ‘I will bring you to the and flowing with milk and honey. There is a flow in supply.
• One of the disciples came to Jesus saying that he needed to pay his taxes. Jesus says, give to Caesar what is due to Caesar. But the first thing to do is cast the fishing rod. A Fishing ROD and not a fishing net. If you need a supply, you need to know how to cast a fishing rod. A hook signifies that thing that God calls you to do. The first thing that gets hooked onto it for example the first job you get, the first place where you get admission, is your supply. May the Lord give you that wisdom.

What is your hook? Where should you cast the fishing rod, what is the first thing you will catch and within that is your supply. 

SUCK THE BLESSINGS INTO YOUR LIFE

Deuteronomy 33:19- They shall call the people unto the mountain; there they shall offer sacrifices of righteousness: for they shall suck of the abundance of the seas, and of treasures hid in the sand. 

• There are many ways to drink like sucking through a straw, lick, gulp etc. • The Word says here that they sucked the abundance of the seas. This is the ‘S’ factor. The Lord is speaking this prophetically to suck certain blessings into your life. 
• The abundance of the seas – what is in the seas? There are big fish, there are sharks. Jesus likes fish a lot. It’s good to eat fish. I like to eat fish too.

Anybody here who is linked to seafood business? An abundance is coming over your life.

• There are pearls in the seas. There is oil in the sea. Certain things are lying in the depths, things that we have never seen, never taken hold of anyone. Today if the Lord seals you, you can suck it out. There is no limit in the sea- This refers to limitless supply and limitless blessing.
• When I am sealed with the Holy Spirit of God, there is an anointing that will supply all my needs. • The verse talks about the ‘treasures hidden in the sand’. There are diamonds, gold, silver, copper, bronze, iron, oil in the sea. 

God told Kenneth Copeland to buy land. Once he bought this land, he wondered why God had told him to buy that particular piece of land he told him to dig that place and when he did, gas came out. That’s how he became wealthy.

• There are treasures hidden in the sea. May the blessing and goodness be revealed in your life. 

Isaiah 60:16- You shall drink the milk of the Gentiles, And milk the breast of kings; You shall know that I, the Lord, am your Savior And your Redeemer, the Mighty One of Jacob. 

• You will drink the milk- this signifies nutrients and you will suck the breast of kings- this signifies royalty. I heard that someone in India drinks milk flew down from Dubai, cheese from Europe and chocolates from Switzerland. He is in India. He is a gentile. But the Lord is saying to his children that you can suck the best. 
• You cannot prosper by jealousy nor by prayer. It’s only from the revelation of God’s Word. Many believers pray but never enjoy the blessing of God. But some have trusted and taken God at His Word and sucked the blessing through revelation of His Word. 

You cannot prosper by being jealous of somebody. You can only prosper according to what you sow.

• A person bought land and he prayed for rain in that land. God heard and sent rain. He then prayed for manure and God sent him manure. He prayed for labourers to break the fallow land and God sent labourers. Then he started to pray to God to bless his land. God old him ‘how can I bless, you have not sowed’. Nothing happens when you don’t sow.

Your abundance is according to your sowing. 

FELLOWSHIP WITH THE HOLY SPIRIT

• When you are sealed with the Holy Spirit you have fellowship with Him. Many of you here come to church but you never pray. You don’t have a relationship with the Holy Spirit. You pray only when you have a need. But some connect with God and have a relationship with Him. Such people can suck out the blessing, 

I rebuke every prayerlessness in this house in Jesus. 

Did Nehemiah pray to get his daughter married? No! he prayed for the Lord’s temple to be built. 

Nehemiah 1:4- 4 So it was, when I heard these words, that I sat down and wept, and mourned for many days; I was fasting and praying before the God of heaven. 

• He prayed for the church to be built, for he walls to be fortified, for the country to be saved. May the Lord rise up children of God who can do that. Because you love the Holy Spirit, because you have a relationship with Jesus, you will pray. Inside such people, God will reveal the S factor. 

You look like somebody who has got an S factor. The seal of the Holy Spirit and the grace to suck out every blessing God has kept for you!
