John 12:3- Mary therefore took a pound[a] of expensive ointment made from pure nard, and anointed the feet of Jesus and wiped his feet with her hair. The house was filled with the fragrance of the perfume. 

There is nothing as powerful as God's Word. One word from His mouth is enough to take you into a new realm, new season, new grace, new level in your life. 

One Word from His mouth is enough for a new grace and new season in your life. What matters us where it falls. If it falls in your heart, one Word is enough! 

The Holy Spirit told me on the flight – ‘God will change the atmosphere of the church and your home’. 

WHAT IS ATMOSPHERE? 

• A lady pours perfume on Jesus's feet and wipes His feet with her hair. Those in the middle east know that when people sit, the feet are at the back. She came from the back and wiped Jesus’ feet.
• The smell of that perfume filled the atmosphere of that home. 
• The same fragrance of Jesus came upon the lady and also upon every member in that house and into that whole home. The entire atmosphere changed. 

These days whatever is there in Christ, will come upon you. Some godly interventions will take place.Things of Christ will fill your atmosphere

• When we go into a smokers' zone, even if we don't smoke, the same smell comes on us. The same thing happens if you go to a fish market, the smell of the fish comes upon you. • Similarly, if you sit with Jesus and are coming out from his presence, the same fragrance of Jesus will be seen upon you. 
• If you spray perfume on your clothes, the same smell comes upon your body, on your clothes and upon those who stand close to you. My wife knows that I am coming just by the smell of that perfume I wear. 

Atmosphere matters. 

• Only if there is a spiritual atmosphere, you will be able to worship and clap unto God. In some places you can worship or hours in some places, because the atmosphere is conducive. Saul stood next to prophets and he also started prophesied. He wasn't a prophet but an anointed to be a king. Yet in that atmosphere he began to prophesy. 

What is in Christ will be rubbed onto you 

• God took four days to create the atmosphere. He first did that and only then placed animals, birds and man in it. First, the atmosphere needed to live was created.

In these days there will be a tremendous Presence of God imparted upon you, your home will have a different atmosphere, it will carry the fragrance of Christ.

• Jesus was in the house in Capernaum. The atmosphere of God was in that House.
• The five layers of atmosphere (Troposphere, stratosphere, mesosphere, Thermosphere, Exosphere) and the atmospheric pressure enable us to inhale oxygen and enables our blood flow in the body. There is not atmospheric pressure on the moon, that’s why we need to wear an oxygen cylinder to walk on the mon. That’s also why in flights they maintain atmospheric pressure to keep up to the what is needed for us to breathe. 
• Meteorites enter earth’s atmosphere and they burn away due to friction. The moon has no atmosphere that's why meteorites strike and fall on the Moon’s surface and that’s why there are craters and holes on the surface of the moon.

We have life on earth because of the atmosphere. God is opening a spiritual atmosphere over the church of God. A divine protection on the church to destroy every meteorite of the enemy. 

• Nothing that the enemy releases over you will touch you! 
• 14500 kilos of pressure is the actual weight of atmospheric pressure, that is pushing the air into you. 

There is going to be a Holy pressure over you and your home.

In Acts 11, in Cornelius house when Peter preached the Holy Spirit fell. The Greek word means the Holy Spirit pressed upon all people. It is relentless, it is gentle, it is a beautiful pressure. It is not a burdensome one.

Open your heart to the Holy Spirit pressing, then: 

➢ dreams and vision will come pressing upon you. 

➢ Giftings and fruits of the Spirit will come pressing upon you.

➢ Things that are Holy will come pressing upon you. Surrender to the Holy Spirit. ➢ The Holy Spirit pressure will push out certain fleshy bondages upon your life. ➢ A strong spiritual pressure will push you into your calling. 

➢ The Holy Spirit pressure will push you into God's will, to the ways of God. 

You may want to walk in your own ways, but you are unable to. It is the Spirit of God pressing you. It is a daily thing. 

• Daily you need to surrender to the Holy Spirit to melt you, mould you and make you. • The atmosphere shields the earth from cosmic rays.
• The Holy spirit freedom is what we need. And this freedom of the Holy Spirit makes you what you are supposed to be. 
• The sky is blue, atmosphere is what scattered the light and makes it blue. That’s why moon is surrounded by darkness. The very beauty of Christ is shown and revealed by the Holy Spirit.

If your spiritual atmosphere is not correct, then you are a pessimist, you are negative and everything feels dark. If your spiritual atmosphere is correct it is blue, God will do something amazing in my life. 

• There is a need for a spiritual atmosphere in our home, we need to see the Word of God, the sound of worship, the life of God’s Word in our homes. That’s when negativity leaves. 
• The earth’s atmosphere makes you hear. Even if you break crackers on moon, there is no sound because it is air that carries your sound. When you speak something, air carries that sound to the ears of the next person or else sound won’t be carried. God's voice will come to you when there is an atmosphere of God. A spiritual atmosphere quickens your spirit. Otherwise even if God is speaking you will not hear. Let the atmosphere be opened up for something supernatural to take place in your life. May you hear God’s voice. You need the right atmosphere. 
• Wherever the atmosphere is correct, the cold leaves. Hitler killed Jews by making them stand naked in the cold. May you be warmed in the atmosphere of God’s love. Thank Him for it.

There are a few things that I have prayed for an atmosphere in church 

1. An atmosphere of hunger for God- Blessed are those to hunger and thirst after righteousness and may they be filled. 
2. A faith filled atmosphere- not a negative atmosphere 
3. A prayerful atmosphere- A man of God went to Paul Yonggi Cho’s church. People would come at 4 am to pray. 5000 people gathered only to pray at that time! They would just sit and pray. This man of god said I pray for 2 hours every day. But he was told that only if you pray 3 hours a day that you qualify to enter as staff into Paul Yonggi Cho’s church. I doubt if your entire family put together comes up to 3 hours of praying. You will not qualify even to eb apart timer in that church! 
4. An atmosphere of Honour – honouring God and honouring one another- A atmosphere of honour 
5. An authentic atmosphere- Let your lifestyle be authentic. Be authentic and not to just show people. That's the only way you will be relevant for God. 
6. Generous atmosphere- Where you are generous with your time and giving.

• Atmosphere is tangible. You can actually smell an atmosphere. When a husband and wife are fighting and are terribly upset with each other and suppose someone walks into that room, they will immediately sense that something is not OK and they will slowly excuse themselves and leave that room.

The first sign of the prophetic is that you are able to discern an atmosphere. 

• I know that you are a prophet, revivalist when I know the atmosphere you carry. Everyone is carrying an atmosphere. Say ‘I want to be the fragrance of Christ!’ 

ATMOSPHERE IS PERSONAL. 

2 Corinthians 2:14-15- But thanks be to God, who always leads us in triumph in Christ, and manifests through us the sweet aroma of the knowledge of Him in every place. For we are to God the fragrance of Christ among those who are being saved and among those who are perishing 

• You are the fragrance of Christ. You carry an atmosphere, a grace. Everybody is carrying something. They won't know it for themselves.
• Ask three people who you are close to what they feel when you enter a room. Ask them to tell you the truth. 
• Others know what you carry. Some people carry gossip, some unbelief, some carry fear-their entire prayer life is fear.
• I will tell you something practically- People complain ‘pastor pray for my office atmosphere, it is terrible’. But they forget that they too carry an atmosphere.

If you carry the fragrance of Jesus, it can change any atmosphere. It will break the negative things in that office. You have to take responsibility for your atmosphere! 

• You are not a victim of any circumstance. You carry Jesus Christ!! 

There is thermostat and there is thermometer. 

Thermometer shows your temperature and thermostat makes you adjust the temperature.

• When you call out your situation just the way it is, you are only a thermometer. But God has called you to be a thermostat. One hallelujah from you will change the atmosphere, one smile from you will impart peace to others. 
• Be a thermostat! A thermometer person will say oh todays worship wasn’t very good, but if you are a thermostat, you will worship and change that atmosphere.
• Anybody can speak things as they are but can you change things from what they are, as a person carrying Jesus. 
• In a room, people are all talking about negative things, you walk in and say a couple of good things and the atmosphere shifts. 

If you don’t set the atmosphere for your life and for your home, somebody else will. 

Luke 8: Jairus came and fell at the feet of Jesus, asking Him for help. It showed his hunger and desperation. Jesus went with him. On the way to Jairus’s home, Jesus healed the woman with the issue of blood. A small prayer gathering took place there, and Jesus began preaching about faith. More people gathered. Jairus must have felt bad that Jesus was delayed while his own desperate need was waiting. He could have become frustrated and upset. But he must have said to himself, “No, I need not feel upset. If Jesus could heal someone who only touched the hem of His garment, then surely He can heal my daughter.” He encouraged himself and once again started walking with Jesus. Soon, another person came and said, “Don’t bother the Teacher; your daughter is dead.” This would have pulled him down again. 

• There is an internal atmosphere- you come to church, you get charged then you go back to see the same struggle then you are down and discouraged thinking there is no solution to your problem. Jairus was told not to trouble the master- that was just an opinion of man. Even if you are facing a dead situation, and even fi people are calling it hopeless, expect a miracle from God! Expect something supernatural from God
• Jairus received the news that the child is dead. But Jesus still gets to his home. Everyone is wailing and crying, imagine that atmosphere! Jesus said don’t fear and said Just believe. Jesus put everyone else out and kept the parents (they loved her), and Peter and James in (they had faith). 

If you need a miracle you need love and faith, put everybody else out. 

• Those sitting in the front rows of a church can either kill a meeting or spark it alive. I can tell just by the way you sit. May the Lord release you into the atmosphere of holiness, of increase, of blessing, of peace. Jesus, I want to be in your move! Keep me in that atmosphere.
• There is always a battle for the atmosphere. Consecrate it to Jesus and battle for your atmosphere. Consecrate to Jesus and maintain your atmosphere. 

How can you keep the atmosphere in your home? 

Like the four legs of a chair, there are four things to keep your atmosphere. We can manage with 3 but to sit comfortably you need four legs. It's simple 

1. God is Good 

You need to be certain of this truth deep in your heart. When you speak in your home this needs to resonate- MY GOD IS GOOD. He won't do anything bad to me. Never! 

Charley Kirk’s wife said- God will work ALL things together for the good of those who love Jesus Christ. 

2. Nothing is impossible with my God 

Hold on to this. Luke 1:37 says for with God nothing is impossible. No - thing. My daughters asked me ‘Appa, can we afford this?’ I tell her ‘nothing is impossible with God’. 'Impossible' word doesn't exist in God's dictionary. 

Mark 9, a father takes his child to Jesus and says, ‘can you do something for me?’ He says all things are possible for him who believes. He can enrol you into that university.

Villas and houses in foreign lands for you. God will act. Thus, says the Holy Spirit.Say it ten times - There is nothing impossible with God.

3. The centrality of the Cross of Jesus Christ 

The conviction that Jesus died for me on the Cross. Gave me access to heaven and broke the wall of separation with the Father through the Cross of Calvary. No curse, no bondage and no sickness have space in my life. Through Christ I am more than a conqueror. God has given me amazing access to the Lord through the Cross. Even fi Jesus takes 1000 more years to come back, his grace wont come down.

4. I am significant 

Everyone has significance—sinners and saints, poor and rich, women and men, Indian, Chinese, American, Hindi-speaking, Malayalam-speaking, educated and uneducated. All have value. You must have that clarity. Someone once asked Dr. Reinhard Bonnke, ‘I have fallen into sin—does that make me worth less now?’ Bonnke took a 100-dollar bill and asked, ‘Does this have value?’ The man said yes. Then he crushed the note in his hand and asked, ‘Does it still have value?’ He said yes. Then he threw it on the ground, stamped on it, and asked again, ‘Does it still have value?’ The man said yes.” 

You are significant! 

Remember Four pillars. This needs to come in and your atmosphere will change. Luke 1:37- Nothing is impossible.
