Psalms 103:1-2- Bless the Lord, O my soul; 

And all that is within me, bless His holy name! 

2 Bless the Lord, O my soul, 

And forget not all His benefits: 

3 Who forgives all your iniquities, 

Who heals all your diseases, 

4 Who redeems your life from destruction, 

Who crowns you with lovingkindness and tender mercies, 

5 Who satisfies your mouth with good things, 

So that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s. 

Are you grateful for all that the Lord has done for you the past 6 months? Don’t forget his benefits. Some of us have memory loss. 

What are the benefits of salvation? 

• You don't get saved because you go to church or sing Jesus songs or even if you are baptised. Before baptism a dry sinner and after baptism, you become a wet sinner! • But you are saved through your relationship with Jesus. It leads to the regeneration in the Holy Spirit. Your heart and mind changes. Your appetite, desire and goal changes. You are after Jesus. You leave sin and the world behind. You are one of those who worship Jesus in Spirit and Truth. 
• Salvation is this- walking closely with Jesus. If you are one of them don't forget a single thing God has done for you. 

Psalm 103 – ‘Bless the Lord!’ means Bow in homage unto God. And with all that is within you Bless His Name.

• Don't forget any of His goodness towards you. Forget means a place where you cease to care about, you make little of what He has done for you, you are actually ignoring it.

The Psalms lists down a series of things that He has given us as benefits. 1. FORGIVES ALL OUR INIQUITIES 

• When you work for a company it gives you many benefits such as PF, bonus, rentals, cars etc. Similarly, when you are born again, God gives you benefits. He forgives ALL your iniquities. Is there anything that God needs to forgive you for in your life?

He gives you a clean record. 

• Your inside is clean by the Blood that Jesus shed for you on the Cross. You feel clean. He has cut off the hands of sins. Don't forget it. Don't make little of it.
• Paul says, ‘I am the chief of all sinners’. When the Woman of God was first saved, she wrote a note to me where she said it feels like even the plants and flowers are 

smiling. It’s because her inside was fully clean! Nobody can forgive your sins except Jesus. He forgives ALL your iniquities. 

• Once you are a born again the difference is like that between a pig and sheep. You can wash a pig but it will go back to muddy pools. But a sheep won't. A believer may fall but he will go back to God, receive forgiveness and come out of it walking straight once again. 

2. HE HEALS ALL YOUR DISEASES.

• Even if it is incurable by medical science, He heals ALL my diseases. If you are born again, you are a child of God. You have every right to walk in His healing. He heals ALL your diseases. He heals even those that medical science calls incurable. The Word of God is true. He heals all my diseases. There is multiplicity of healing. There is emotional, mental, bodily and spiritual healing. 
• Some of you may feel like your problems will drive you mad. You may feel you can never come out of those problems. If you are still sitting here, it's because Jesus has healed you.
• There are three people here saying ‘I just want to die’, you are discouraged and tired of life itself. But if you are sitting in church today, God is settling you free. God is bringing a way out of your problem. He is breaking that power of the enemy.

God will fix you up. He will bind every wound. He will heal every sickness. His mercies are forever. Don't be forgetful that Jesus heals ALL your diseases.

3. HE REDEEMS YOUR LIFE FROM DESTRUCTION

• Means he redeems you from the pit, from trap of the enemy. The enemy has traps to destroy you, to break you. But let the redeemed say so! The trajectory of your life has changed. I was on my way to hell, God redeemed my life and brought me to the path of life. He brought you with the price of His own blood. 

God intercepted your life. 

4. HE CROWNS YOU WITH LOVING KINDNESS AND TENDER MERCIES.• He has surrounded me, encircled me and protected me all around. Behind you, above you, below you, before you, His Loving kindness has encircled you. He has protected me All around.

His is a loyal love. Not the love of your boyfriend. God is saying ‘I love you’. I have loved you with everlasting love. 

• He will not love you less just because you have fallen. He will not kill you with thunder if you made a mistake. His is loyal love. The Father waits for you. He surrounds you with His loyal love all around.
• Tender mercies means compassion. He knows my situation, He knows my problem. He understands my situation and where I am and He shows me mercies accordingly. He doesn’t leave me alone. He encircles me and lifts me up. Jesus is with me. 

5. HE SATISFIES YOUR MOUTH WITH GOOD THINGS. 

• He will make me glad with good things. So much so that your youth is renewed. He will renew your youth like that of an eagle. 

A harvest of good things will follow after you the second half of this year. 

• You may be 80 or 90 years old. Take This Word. These are the benefits in Christ Jesus. Your strength, your heights and your looks will be renewed. 

The Psalmist says the lines have fallen for me on pleasant places. Don't forget His benefits! 

John 17:1- 17 Jesus spoke these words, lifted up His eyes to heaven, and said: “Father, the hour has come. Glorify Your Son, that Your Son also may glorify You, 

• This is the prayer of Jesus. Jesus is saying the time has come. In Genesis chapter 3, Eve and Adam sinned and fell. They lost the presence of God. They fell to sin. The made a mistake. There was a prophecy that the child of man will crush the head of Satan. Jesus is saying that THIS hour has come. The time to crush Satan's head, time to break bondages.

Your time has come to walk with the father, the time to be reconciled to the Father has come, the time to understand and fulfil your purpose on earth, the time to walk in blessing,the time to walk in your calling has come! Your time has come. The time of your victory, your deliverance, your peace has come.

There is a difference between finding time and making time.

• Let’s study Jesus’s prayer pattern. When your boss tells you to come by ten for a 10- minute discussion at 10.00 AM, you make it there in time. You don't say, I have to give dog a bath, cut firewood, take care of kids, my wife is tired etc. You make time because your boss has said so.

You rearrange your schedule to be in His schedule. 

• You make time for God. You put aside your schedule. God becomes your first priority. That is prayer. 
• Everything in your life is rearranged for Him to be the first priority in your life. I am getting into God’s schedule. That was Jesus prayer life. People had needs but Jesus focused on what the Father wanted to say to Him. He was awake early, he was praying late at night. What God says is important. My relationship with Jesus is my priority. Not my job, not my home, not my daily responsibilities. The priority is to listen to what the Father wants to say. 

JESUS'S PRAYED FOR THREE THINGS IN JOHN 17 

1. Jesus first prayed for Himself. 

• My spiritual father used to make me read this chapter. His prayer would take only 5 minutes. Jesus prayed this prayer for 5 minutes. Glorify thy Son so that the you may glorify me.
• Pray for yourself - God honour me, bless me, glorify me. Why? So that God may be glorified through me. The Father should be glorified through your blessing and in your increase. 
• How will Jesus be glorified? He was going to die on the Cross, spat on, humiliated, shamed and beaten. Where is glory in this kind of death? He was going to die alone on the Cross, a painful, lonely and a shameful death. How will the Father be glorified? He was going to be put into the grave that belonged to Joseph of Arimathea. 
• When Moses died, the devil asked for the right over his body and Michael the arch angel came down to fight the devil. When Jesus was shut in that grave and sealed for a defeated death, the Lord sent the Third person of the Trinity, the Holy Spirit! This immeasurable power is given to the church.
• The Holy Spirit’s Presence will deliver you from your prison and grave. From that shame and darkness and defeat. 

We often calculate - how will I come out of the debt? Who will I come out of this problem, how will I come out of this disease. Don’t waste your time thinking about this. Leave that to the Holy Spirit. Surrender that to the Holy Spirit. 

• God has His own methods to bring you out. The Holy Spirit has His ways. This great power is found in earthen vessels. 

Ephesians 1:18-19- 18 the eyes of your [a]understanding being enlightened; that you may know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints, 9 and what is the exceeding greatness of His power toward us who believe, according to the working of His mighty power. 

• Let the eyes of their understanding be opened that they might know the immeasurable power of the Holy Spirit. The power of the Holy Spirit is immeasurable, everything else in life can be measured but not the Power of the Holy Spirit. 
• Black magic, witchcraft, authorities, traps, nothing can stop or constrain the power of the Holy Spirit. 
• The same power that rose Christ Jesus from the dead dwells in you. This is immeasurable power. May there be a infilling of the Holy Spirit. Your eyes need to be opened to understand this.
• The parakleetos- This treasure is found in earthen vessels. You can measure the height and weight of people, air in balloon, weight of the sack. If it carries more than its capacity, the balloon or the bag will break. But this immeasurable power is found in earthen vessels. 
• It's a fragile vessel. If only the church would know this. The father will be glorified. You are coming out of your shame in this season.

The tomb will open. God wants you to know that your tomb will open. Your womb also will open.

HOW DID THE FATHER GLORIFY THE SON? 

Philippians 2:5-11- 5 Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus, 6 who, being in the form of God, did not consider it [a]robbery to be equal with God, 7 but [b]made Himself of no reputation, taking the form of a bondservant, and coming in the likeness of men. 8 And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself and became obedient to the point of death, even the death of the cross. 9 Therefore God also has highly exalted Him and given Him the name which is above every name, 10 that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth, 11 and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. 

• Submission and Obedience. Jesus submitted to the Father. If glory has to come, you need to have submission and obedience for prayers to be answered. That’s why God gave him the Name that is above every other name that at the name of Jesus every knee shall bow.
• In a family, when a wife submits to the husband and when a church submits to the pastor, your season will change. God will lift you up.

Any area that you control yourself by pride of jealousy, the Holy Spirit can be entreated or He won’t penetrate. You have to learn to submit to the Holy Spirit. 

• You should be able to say this when you pray- ‘God bless me so that you may be glorified through me.’ 

John 17:4- 4 I have glorified You on the earth. I have finished the work which You have given Me to do. 

• Jesus says- I have completed the work you have asked me to do.
• We often find lame excuses for not doing what God tells you to do, but Jesus says I have done what You told me to do, Father. Can we say, Lord what you told me yesterday I have done? Can you say that confidently to God? That is the boldness.
• Our prayer is focused on what God needs to do. In your conscious mind you have to have this- I have to do what God has asked me to do. 24 hours and 7 days a week. God will tell you something and when you obey that, the Father will be glorified. 
• What is God telling you? To forgive, you play with kids, to bring someone to church, to respond to someone in love? You have to return glory to God in prayer. Usually we make a long list of things for God to do. But Jesus says, I have don’t your will Father! 
• Without we even moving our little finger, how can God move? You have to return Glory to God in prayer!
