Hi,
I am Manoj D'Costa. I come from a city called Mangalore in south India. I would like to share how the Lord touched my life. As I share, I pray that the Lord may touch your life by the power of His Spirit, so that you may experience the love of a mighty God who gave his Son as a ransom for us (John 3:16). I led a meaningless life due to several bad experiences I faced in my childhood. I had gone through many failures, rejection, hurts and fears. I searched for satisfaction and love in the pleasures of the world, but it did not fill me. My life hit rock bottom after I failed in my pre-degree course. At this point of time, I really lacked direction. Then I came across Pastor Rajesh Mathew, whom the Holy Spirit used to draw me in to a personal relationship with Jesus. It was at a gospel crusade that God started pouring out his love into me (Romans 5:5).The Holy Spirit convicted me of my sins as I listened to the Word being preached by Pastor Rajesh Mathew. The Lord enabled me to forgive whom I had to forgive and I experienced the forgiving love of God. It was something very beautiful. It was that day I decided to give my life to the Lord and the Lord filled me with his Holy Spirit. I received the gift of tongues (Joel 3: 28-29).
My life was never the same again. There was new meaning and God given purpose in my life( Jeremiah 29:11).I consecrated my life completely to Jesus and am committed to live according to the Word in Romans 14:8 "For if we live, we live to the Lord; and if we die, we die to the Lord. Therefore, whether we live or die, we are the Lord's." I believe he has a beautiful plan for your life too. His word tells us in 1 Corinthians 2:9 that, "Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, nor have entered into the heart of man, the things which God has prepared for those who love him." Indeed all the promises in the Bible are for each one of us.
I assure you that if you make Jesus, Lord and Master of your life, you will see the power of God change your life forever. My friend, God can touch you wherever you are, whatever your condition. Just call on the Name of Jesus and be saved. His Name is above every other name. He is mighty to save you. Amen
